Our client is a fast-paced international boarding school located in the heart of Oxford, providing a dynamic and diverse educational environment for students aged 16-19. With a focus on academic excellence, personal development, and cultural exchange, we aim to inspire and empower young learners from across the globe.
 
They are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and highly organized Activities, Marketing, and Communications Coordinator to join our dedicated team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the student experience by planning engaging activities and promoting our school's vibrant community to a global audience.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·Student Activities Coordination:
oPlan, organise, and oversee a wide range of co-curricular activities, including clubs, cultural events, excursions, and social programs that enrich students' experience and promote a sense of community.
oWork closely with students and staff to identify and develop new activities that cater to the diverse interests and backgrounds of the student body.
oManage logistics for events, including budgeting, transportation, as well as health & safety protocols.
·Marketing & Communications:
oDevelop and implement marketing strategies remotely with the central marketing team based in Boston (MA) to enhance the school's profile and recruit students from around the world.
oManage the school's social media channels and support website development, ensuring content is fresh, engaging, and reflective of the school's values and student life.
oCreate promotional materials, newsletters, and press releases to communicate key messages to prospective students, parents, and other key stakeholders.
oBuild and maintain relationships with external organisations, agents, and media outlets to broaden the school's reach.
·Communication with Stakeholders:
oServe as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring clear and effective messaging between students, staff, parents, and the wider school community.
oProvide regular updates to parents and guardians on school events, achievements, and important announcements.
oCollaborate with different departments to ensure consistency in branding and messaging from the central marketing team through to every staff member on campus.
 
·Desired Experience:
oExperience in event planning, marketing, and communications (preferably in an educational or youth-focused environment).
oStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups, including students, parents, and international teams.
oProficiency in digital marketing, including social media management.
oExcellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
oA passion for education and working with young people to create the very best outcomes outside of the classroom.
oExperience in a boarding school or international environment is a plus.
